Michael Moroney has over 30 years of expertise representing physicians, nurses, providers and healthcare institutions on issues regarding professional negligence, regulatory & compliance plans, HIPAA, HITECH and Fraud & Abuse investigations. He regularly appears in both Federal and State courts defending hospitals, physician practices and individual health care providers in those matters.

Mr. Moroney also provides counsel regarding the formation & dissolution of medical practices, and licensing & privileges issues. Additionally, Michael has extensive experience defending clients in asbestos & toxic tort matters, in both the Federal and State courts, including the investigation, defense and trial of those claims.

Mr. Moroney is a frequent presenter on many current healthcare law concerns including HIPAA, Social Media, Fraud & Abuse, and Compliance plans. He regularly speaks on behalf of the Medical Society of New Jersey, and has both written articles for and been cited in the American Medical News, New Jersey Physicians Magazine, NJ Biz, New Jersey Law Journal, and The Legal Intelligencer.
